That's more than the philosophy behind The Tailored Globe—it's the promise behind every journey I design.

Some journeys are more than flights and hotel keys. They're promises honored, dreams explored, and memories that last a lifetime.

In February 2018, I lost my daughter, Gabriella.

She had a list—the kind every dreamer keeps. Topping it was a trip to Ireland and Scotland for her sixteenth birthday, a journey we never got the chance to take. Gabriella's curiosity for the world knew no bounds, and there was almost nowhere she didn't dream of seeing.

That loss changed how I see time—and how I see "someday."

Somedays aren't guaranteed. They never were.

The Tailored Globe was born from that truth—and from a promise.

Every February, in Gabriella's honor, I do something from her list. Sometimes it's an experience she always wanted to have. Sometimes it's a destination she dreamed of visiting. Every year, it's my reminder that the list deserves to be lived.

Every client I work with, I carry that same conviction:

Don't wait for someday. Live the list.

When my youngest left for college in the fall of 2023, the house became quieter, and I found myself asking what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like. 

I knew exactly what I wanted next: a business built around freedom, purpose, and the things that matter most.

I didn't want to answer to anyone else's schedule. If one of my children needed me, I wanted the freedom to book a flight and be there—no asking permission, no waiting for approval. That kind of freedom mattered more to me than almost anything else.

By the fall of 2024, that dream became real.

The Tailored Globe officially opened its doors in April 2025.

Looking back, I realize I wasn't just building a travel business. I was building the kind of life that would let me honor Gabriella's legacy while helping others create memories they'll cherish forever.

Behind every meaningful journey is thoughtful planning.

I'm a Virtuoso-affiliated travel advisor, a Certified Hawaii Specialist, and a  CLIA member, while continually pursuing destination certifications that deepen my expertise. Each one is chosen because it matters to me personally—not simply professionally.

Meaningful travel deserves meaningful expertise, and I'm committed to bringing both to every itinerary I design.

Bringing my family to Ecuador is still on my own list—hopefully sooner rather than later. With roots that trace back to both Ecuador and Spain, it's easy to see why those two countries hold a permanent place on my "someday" list, and why I'm currently working toward becoming a certified destination specialist in both.

Even travel advisors have dreams they're still waiting to live.

Travel isn't just about where you go.

It's about how it transforms you—and the memories you carry home.

I believe in slow, meaningful travel—the kind that lets you truly arrive, not just pass through.

Every journey I create is thoughtfully tailored for the moments that matter most—not simply where you stay, but how you feel while you're there and the memories you'll carry home long after you've unpacked your suitcase.
